CAMARILLO : Alternate Sought for Transit Commitee

Camarillo is seeking a resident to represent the city as an alternate member of the Ventura County Citizens’ Transportation Advisory Committee.
A new alternate is needed because an alternate member was appointed recently to a regular seat on the board, according to City Clerk Marilyn Thiel.
The commission, which reviews and makes recommendations on countywide transportation matters, meets in Ventura the second Tuesday of each month. Alternates are not required to attend.
Candidates should submit a letter of interest, including relevant background information, to Thiel at City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo 93010.
