Co-skippers John MacLaurin of Los Angeles and Kimo Worthington of Piedmont, Calif., won $56,250 for their victory in the Ziploc Ultimate sailing event on San Francisco Bay last weekend.
Sailing a lightweight Ultimate 30 with a crew of eight, the California Yacht Club members won all three heats and Sunday’s final in 25 knots of wind. Olympic medalists Jonathan and Charlie McKee of Seattle won the One-Design 14 class.
