2 Investigators Shot in Drug Raid on Home

MADISON, Calif. — Two drug investigators were wounded Friday--one critically--and a suspect was shot to death in a gun battle during a raid at a home here in rural Yolo County.
West Sacramento Police Officer James McKnight was shot in the head and was reported in critical condition at University Medical Center in Sacramento. State Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement Agent Ken Becksted was shot in the wrist and suffered a bone fracture.
They were part of an 11-state investigation into cocaine trafficking.
