In the continuing investigation of possible NCAA violations at the University of Maryland, the school and NCAA officials have received statements from two former student employees in the athletic department who say they saw two assistant coaches at a preseason basketball practice last September, according to a published report.
Coach Gary Williams has said there were no organized practices at Maryland before Oct. 15, in compliance with NCAA rules.
