Kaiser Permanente Contributes $1,500 to Keep Downey Beautiful Committee

DOWNEY — Kaiser Permanente Inc. recently presented a $1,500 contribution to the Keep Downey Beautiful Committee.
The committee sponsors community participation programs including the Waste in Place effort, graffiti removal and cleanup of major thoroughfares.
The committee also promotes the Downey recycling program, which has continued to capture the interest and support of concerned individuals, service groups and local businesses. Some businesses contribute money while others provide the group with supplies such as trash bags and equipment.
