Madonna Goes Voiceless: Throat problems have forced Madonna to cancel or reschedule the final U.S. shows of her “Blond Ambition” tour. The Material Girl has chronic laryngitis, Warner Bros. Records officials said. Tonight’s concert at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J., was moved to June 25, and the June 23 show was canceled. Shows on June 20, 21, and 24 will go on as scheduled. Throat problems also forced the singer to cancel a Friday concert in Philadelphia. It was the third show canceled in the last three weeks by the singer.
