NAMES IN THE NEWS : S. Korea Leader’s Son Marries

SEOUL — President Roh Tae Woo’s only son was married at the presidential palace this morning in a ceremony conducted by Prime Minister Kang Young Hoon.
Roh Jae Hon, 25, a student at the University of Chicago, was married to Shin Jung Hwa, a 22-year-old music student. The 200 guests included politicians, business associates and friends of the families.
The bride is the daughter of Shin Myung Soo, president of Dongbang Corp., a large food company whose main product is cooking oil.
Korean news reports said the couple expected to go to the United States in late June and would live in Chicago until Roh finishes his studies.
