Altadena : 70 Historic Places Listed

Tim Gregory, chairman of Altadena Heritage, said Tuesday that the preservation group has nearly completed a survey identifying about 70 structures that might qualify for the National Register of Historic Places.
When the survey of the eight-square-mile unincorporated area is completed, the group intends to request a county ordinance that will protect Altadena’s historic buildings. It also plans to hold neighborhood meetings that will acquaint owners of historic homes with their rights and responsibilities.
