Illusion, a small Orange County theater that closed last year because of dismal attendance, will begin offering original plays again, according to producer Jeffrey Ault. Ault will co-produce new works with Dan Hawlkyard of Center Stage Productions at the Anaheim Cultural Arts Center. The first offering will be “I Want It” by Lew Riley, a satire on the television and film industry, to run for three weekends beginning Aug. 24; and a second play to be announced, which will run for three weekends beginning Oct. 26.
