TransTechnology Unit Sale to Universal Completed

TransTechnology Corp. said it completed the $4.1-million sale of the assets of its Space Ordnance Systems unit to Universal Propulsion Co., a unit of Talley Industries Inc. in Phoenix.
The assets include crew escape systems components, pyrotechnic products for missiles and training aids, Sherman Oaks-based Trans Technology said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
