Dr. Marvin Burns, an All-American water polo...

Dr. Marvin Burns, an All-American water polo and swimming at USC and a two-time Olympian, died Sunday of cancer. He was 61.

Burns attended USC from 1948-52 and was on the U.S. Olympic water polo teams in 1952 and 1960.

Burns was a lifetime resident of Fullerton. He attended Fullerton High School and Fullerton College.

Services for Burns will be Wednesday at Emanuel Episcopal Church in Fullerton.
