Promoter Don King, commenting on the controversy surrounding the Buster Douglas-Mike Tyson fight in Tokyo, said he was glad it was Douglas, not Tyson, who benefited from a long count during the fight Feb. 11.
“If it had gone the other way, I would have been investigated by everybody known to man,” King testified at his breach of contract suit against Douglas and manager John Johnson in U.S. district court in New York.
