Over-the-Line to Begin Play This Weekend

The 37th Over-the-Line World Championships, sponsored by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club, will begin Saturday at 7:30 a.m. on Fiesta Island.
Competition will continue through Sunday and resume on Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22.
BASKETBALL
The third Seagram’s Coolers All-Star Basketball game will be played Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the San Diego Sports Arena.
Confirmed participants include Michael Jordan, Spud Webb, Jerome Kersey and Danny Manning. Tickets, which went on sale Thursday, are available at all Ticketmaster locations and at the Sports Arena box office. Prices are $9, $20, $35, $50 and $100.
The event benefits the San Diego Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for research and chapter services.
