Nikolas Patsouris, director of the Southern California Rapid Transit District, in all seriousness has announced a contest, with prizes of T-shirts and free monthly passes on buses, to find ideas for relieving traffic congestion in the San Fernando Valley.
Do tell, Nik, who is this panel of experts who will review the ideas and pick the winners? Is it the same panel that has been receiving salaries from taxpayers for goodness knows how many years to find ways to solve this enormous problem?
What next? When this brain wave fails, will he tell us to pray?
