Freeway Repairs Announced

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following freeway work in the Southeast/Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower/Cerritos: Eastbound No. 6 lane; Woodruff Avenue to San Gabriel River Freeway (605); Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; shoulder repair.

2. Cerritos: Eastbound off-ramp at Bloomfield Avenue; today, 12:30 to 2 p.m.; electrical repair.

3. Long Beach: Westbound No. 1 lane and westbound connector to southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

4. Paramount: Eastbound connector to northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) and Long Beach Boulevard on-ramp; today, 7 a.m. to noon; bridge repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

5. San Pedro: Westbound No. 1 lane of the Terminal Island separation; Ferry Street to Gaffey Street; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

6. San Pedro: Eastbound No. 1 lane of the Terminal Island separation; Ferry Street to the northbound off-ramp at Harbor Boulevard; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

7. Commerce: Northbound connector to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; guardrail repair.

8. Commerce: Northbound No. 3 lane; Triggs Street to Olympic Boulevard and the Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to noon; bridge guardrail repair.

9. Long Beach: Southbound connector to northbound San Diego Freeway (405); today, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; landscaping.

10. Long Beach: Southbound connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91); today, 8:30 to 10 a.m.; electrical repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

11. Cerritos: Southbound connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91); today, 6:30 to 8 a.m.; electrical repair.

12. Downey: Southbound connector to the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); today, 10:30 a.m. to noon; electrical repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

13. Commerce: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Long Beach Freeway (710) to Indiana Street; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; guardrail repair.

14. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane; Ditman Avenue on-ramp to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) at Triggs Street, and the Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

15. Norwalk: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Orr & Day Road overcrossing to Pioneer Boulevard; today, 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; guardrail repair.

16. Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane; Orr & Day Road to Pioneer Boulevard and the Pioneer Boulevard off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

WHITTIER BOULEVARD (72)

17. Pico Rivera: Eastbound and westbound alternating lanes at Paramount Boulevard; Tuesday, 1:30 to 3 p.m.; stenciling.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

19. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 lane; Commodore Schuyler Heim Bridge; Wednesday, 9:30 to 11 a.m.; bridge repair.

20. Long Beach: Northbound all lanes; a detour from Anaheim Street to Pacific Coast Highway, including the Anaheim Street on-ramp and Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp and on-ramp; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.
