Ella’s on the Mend: Jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald was released from a hospital in the Netherlands over the weekend after being treated for exhaustion and dehydration. A spokesperson for the Bronovo Hospital in the Hague said the 72-year-old singer would be returning to her Los Angeles home. Representatives for Fitzgerald said she had nearly recovered from her condition but would cancel the rest of her European tour.
