Diasonics Inc., a Milpitas, Calif., maker of medical diagnostic equipment has named Roderick Young president and chief operating officer. Young, 46, replaces Ruediger Naumann-Etienne, who resigned to form an international investment advisory firm. Young was president of Toshiba America MRI Inc., a former Diasonics unit. Prior to the sale of the division to Toshiba, he was Diasonics executive vice president and MRI division general manager.
