SIDON, Lebanon — Two gunmen armed with silencer-equipped pistols on Saturday killed an official of terrorist mastermind Abu Nidal’s Palestinian faction in a southern Lebanon refugee camp, police said.
A police spokesman said the gunmen shot Abdul Fattah Aziz, known by the code name Kifah Ghalib, shortly after midnight at the refugee camp.
Abu Nidal broke away from Yasser Arafat’s Palestine Liberation Organization in 1973 and set up the Fatah Revolutionary Council. It has bases in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Lebanon.
