Allied-Signal to Build French Polyester Plant

Allied-Signal Inc. will build a plant in France to manufacture polyester fiber for passenger car tires, seat belts and other products. The advanced technology company said the $160-million facility would be located near the Belgian border. It is expected to open by 1993 and employ about 300 workers.
Allied-Signal is an advanced technology company with businesses in aerospace, automotive products and engineered materials.
