Former Indiana running back Anthony Thompson, runner-up to Andre Ware for the Heisman Trophy and the top draft pick of the Phoenix Cardinals this year, is threatening to sit out the entire 1990 NFL season if his demands for first-round money are not met.
Thompson has lowered his demands to a three-year, $1.3 million deal. Phoenix is offering about $200,000 less.
