PerfectData Posts Strongest 1st Quarter in Its History

PerfectData Corp., a Simi Valley maker of cleaning and maintenance supplies for computer equipment, reported a $138,000 profit in its fiscal first-quarter that ended June 30. A year earlier, the company earned less than $1,000 in the quarter.
The higher profit came on an 84% jump in PerfectData’s sales, to $1.42 million from $773,000. The company attributed the gains to recent restructuring efforts and said it was the strongest fiscal first quarter in its history.
