200,000 in Sudan Rally in Support of Hussein

NICOSIA, Cyprus — More than 200,000 students, workers and other Sudanese marched through Khartoum on Monday, shouting their opposition to the deployment of U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf, the official Sudan News Agency reported.
The agency, in a report received by the British Broadcasting Corp., said the marchers gave their full support to Iraq and its president, Saddam Hussein, in a message handed to Baghdad’s ambassador in the Sudanese capital.
