Cineplex Extends Sale Date: Cineplex Odeon Corp. said it has extended indefinitely the closing date for a $31.75-million deal to sell 38 movie theaters to Plitt Amusement Co. of Los Angeles. Cineplex said that “negotiations are continuing” and that the closing date had been extended.
