Faria Wins Speedway Scratch Main Event

Mike Faria of Riverside won the four-lap scratch main event Friday in the weekly speedway program at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.
Lance King of Huntington Beach was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano third and Alan Christian of Murrieta fourth.
Jessee Finch of Costa Mesa won the eight-lap handicap main event.
