ORANGE : Police Seek Gunman, Victim in Shooting

Police on Sunday were looking for a man who was shot in the chest and another man who may have shot him, both of whom have disappeared.
A witness told police he saw a man whom police identified as Jose Sandoval, 43, shoot another man once in the upper body, Sgt. Ed Falkenstein said. According to the witness, the shooting ended an argument between the two about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in an apartment at 117 E. Mayfair Ave.
When police arrived, however, both gunman and victim were gone. Falkenstein said the witness reported seeing Sandoval remove the victim from the apartment and leave in a blue 1979 Ford Grenada with yellow flames painted on the front fenders.
“There was blood in the apartment and a gun, so we know there was a shooting,” Falkenstein said. Police say they don’t know who the victim is.
