Lopez Will Meet Ramos in Main Event Tonight

Ben Lopez, the California super featherweight champion, takes on Pablo Ramos in a non-title defense tonight in the main event of the monthly boxing program at the Irvine Marriott.
Lopez (15-5), of Ontario, has 10 knockouts. Ramos, of Mexico City, has a 20-8 record with 12 knockouts.
Jesus Castenada of La Habra and Ernie Magdalena of Westminster, both light heavyweights, square off in the six-round semi-main event.
The first of six scheduled bouts starts at 7:30. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. in the hotel’s grand ballroom.
