Pollution Research Loses $1.05 Million in Quarter

Pollution Research & Control Corp., a Glendale maker of air pollution-monitoring equipment, reported a $1.05-million loss for its fiscal fourth quarter, compared with a $109,000 profit a year ago.
The loss in the quarter that ended June 30 came on a decline in the company’s revenue, to $1.09 million from $1.3 million a year earlier.
For its full fiscal year, Pollution Research lost $1.45 million on revenue of $5.41 million, while in the previous year it had a $435,000 profit on revenue of $4.6 million.
