AT WORK . . . : It’s Ride-share Week, but many Orange County companies haven’t gotten into the spirit. Of the 800 companies so far ordered to offer employee ride-share incentives, 282 haven’t responded and 26 have had their proposals rejected. . . . Companies that don’t comply may have to pay: the South Coast Air Quality Management District recently fined Hitachi of Anaheim $70,000--the largest such fine in the county--because it was eight months past deadline.
