Delta Signs Pact With McDonnell Douglas: Delta Air Lines said it signed purchase agreements with McDonnell Douglas for two MD-11 trijets and 26 of the MD-90-30 medium-range twin jets. The Atlanta-based carrier also took options on 22 additional MD-88s. The medium-range jets are scheduled for delivery beginning in late 1994.
