GARDEN GROVE — Police on Friday released a sketch of the woman found strangled and wrapped in a carpet across the street from an elementary school.
The woman, who remains unidentified, is described as a Latino, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with dark, curly hair. She had gold trim around two of her front teeth.
A group of teen-agers found the woman’s body, bound in the carpet, in the grass alongside Lewis Street across from Riverdale Elementary School at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday.
She was wearing acid-washed blue jeans, a pink tank top under a black tank top, no shoes and no jewelry when found. Anyone with information is asked to call Garden Grove police at (714) 741-5707.
