Serbia’s ruling Communists suspended talks with the federal government on resolving ethnic tensions in Kosovo province, angered that two members of a federal delegation had met leaders of the ethnic Albanian majority. “The visit of the federal government delegation to Kosovo has been completed as far as I and the government of Serbia are concerned,” said Serbian Vice President Momcilo Trajkovic, who has been overseeing Kosovo since the government of Yugoslavia’s largest republic assumed direct control of the province on July. 5.
