Valley 51, Compton 9--Clifford Robinson rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns in 15 carries for visiting Valley.
In improving to 2-3, 2-2 in conference play, the Monarchs racked up 518 yards and limited Compton to 155.
Valley quarterback Trendell Williams was 11 of 15 for 131 yards and one touchdown, and backup quarterback Mark Mengoni threw for 57 yards and two touchdowns, completing four of five.
