MEINERS OAKS : Post Office Station May Be Reopened

Meiners Oaks could have a post office substation in operation again by early December if the selected business does not need substantial remodeling, said Gary Gardetto, U.S. Postal Service marketing director in Santa Barbara.
“We’d like to have it open for Christmas to relieve a lot of pressure on lines in the Ojai office,” Gardetto said.
Business operators interested in providing the contract service that was discontinued Aug. 10 have until Oct. 29 to submit their sealed bids, he said.
