Lotus Wins Copyright Settlement: Lotus Development Corp. will receive $500,000 in a settlement with two software companies for violating Lotus’ copyrights of its 1-2-3 spreadsheet software, the company announced. The settlement calls for Berkeley-based Paperback Software International to pull its V-P Planner, V-P Planner Plus and V-P Planner 3D software from the market and pay Lotus $500,000.
