Fewer Bureaus for ABC News: ABC News is planning to close domestic bureaus in Dallas, Chicago and Boston. Twelve employees will be affected by the move and ABC will attempt to reassign them. Correspondent Chris Bury in Chicago will work out of the ABC-owned station there. The network will keep a production crew in Boston with Dr. Timothy Johnson, a medical reporter who appears on several ABC shows, but the bureau will be downgraded to an office. In Dallas, correspondent Charlie Murphy will work out of his home, while a cameraman and assistant there will be laid off or placed elsewhere.
