Kings Have Turned Fans Into Paupers
After being a loyal fan of the Kings since they first came to the city, and having suffered through many years of mediocrity, I am no longer able to attend their games. Our tickets rose in price by 63% and I cannot justify spending $105 for two seats plus parking.
Many of the “real” fans are in the same boat. I suppose new fans will replace us and arrive late, leave early and ask what an “offside” is. Be warned, Mr. McNall, these new fans will not be as loyal as we have been. The Gretzky magic will not keep hockey fever going if you ignore fans that pay for their tickets themselves.
