Village Christian 31, Marshall Fundamental 13--Junior Chad Everett rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns to lead the visiting Crusaders.
Everett, who finished with 133 yards in 30 carries, recovered an onside kick early in the second quarter that led to his second touchdown, a three-yard run that gave Village Christian (5-1-1, 2-0) an 18-7 lead.
