HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Notre Dame Humbles Bell-Jeff, 42-0

Six Notre Dame High players scored touchdowns in a 42-0 nonleague rout of Bell-Jeff at Burroughs High on Saturday night.
Notre Dame (4-2-1) rolled up 474 yards while limiting Bell-Jeff (0-7) to 124.
The Knights started slowly after being penalized eight times for 95 yards in the first quarter. Quarterback Steve Colella connected with Kirk Miller on a 65-yard touchdown pass with 3 minutes 22 seconds remaining in the first half to give Notre Dame a 7-0 lead.
Alfred Silva, who scored Bell-Jeff’s only touchdown in a loss to Harvard last week, led the Guards with 79 yards in 19 carries.
