Jackson Gets New Producer: Adam Clayton Powell III has been named executive producer of the syndicated television series “Jesse Jackson,” produced by Quincy Jones Entertainment. Powell, a veteran broadcast journalist, will join the program’s staff immediately, replacing departing executive producer Michael Linder. Powell, a former vice president of news and information programming for National Public Radio, was most recently a consultant to the Minority Television Project in San Francisco.
