COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Roosen’s Goal Gives Titans a Soccer Win

Marc Roosen scored a first-half goal to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 1-0 victory over San Jose State in a Big West Conference men’s soccer game Sunday at Rich Park in Fullerton.

Jay Nettekoven had two saves for Fullerton (8-8-3, 5-4-1 in the Big West). San Jose State is 4-17, 2-8.

In Big West Conference water polo:

Pepperdine 11, UC Irvine 8--Geoffrey Clark and Henry Rabello scored three goals each to lead fifth-ranked Pepperdine (19-8, 8-1) at home. Rabello played at Golden West College last season.
