FULLERTON : Rational Therapy Author in Seminar

Noted psychotherapist and educator Albert Ellis will hold a special seminar Sunday at Cal State Fullerton.
Ellis, who gained fame in the early 1960s for his rational approach to therapy, will hold a seven-hour seminar in the Ruby Gerontology Center on the campus at State College Boulevard and Nutwood Avenue.
Ellis, 77, has written more than 50 books, including “Sex Without Guilt” and “How to Stubbornly Refuse to Make Yourself Miserable About Anything--Yes Anything!” He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Columbia University and has been executive director of the Institute for Rational-Emotive Therapy in New York City since 1959.
Ellis’ seminar is being sponsored by the university’s Psychology Department Assn. An admission fee of $25 includes lunch. For tickets or information, call (714) 773-3514.
