THE SIDELINES : Lakers Waive Swingman Brown

The Lakers announced today that they have waived swingman Tony Brown.
Brown, a 6-6 five-year NBA veteran, was placed on the injured list by the Lakers Nov. 30 because of a bruised right knee cap. He appeared in seven games this season, averaging 3.9 minutes per appearance.
