EXPANDING: The protest in Orange against the gay-oriented Spectrum News Network comes as the cable service is gaining more viewers (B7). Since May, the network has doubled the number of households it reaches in Orange and Los Angeles counties--now 750,000--and has extended service to Lincoln and Omaha, Neb. . . . In all, the network’s programming is received in 17 cities here, from Fullerton to Corona del Mar.
