An 11-year-old girl was believed kidnaped Saturday evening by a man who pulled her into his truck as she walked with a friend in her Covina neighborhood, sheriff’s deputies said.
Jacqline Reyna Fox was abducted at 7:40 p.m. in the 4600 block of Roxburgh Avenue, an unincorporated area of Covina. Sheriff’s deputies were conducting a door-to-door search.
Sheriff’s Deputy John Ashley described Fox as blonde and blue-eyed, 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 80 pounds. She was wearing a purple shirt, white shorts, black shoes and white socks, he said.
The suspect, believed to be in his 40s, was driving a black pickup truck with an orange accent stripe.
“The driver pulled up along side Jacqline and pulled her in,” Ashley said. “Jacqline’s friend was running up and down the street crying for help.”
