The executive vice president of the Oxnard Area Chamber of Commerce announced his resignation Wednesday after serving 3 1/2 years as the group’s top administrator.
Bob Seitz cited personal reasons for resigning and said he may consider other career opportunities in the Oxnard area. Until a replacement is named, chamber member Walt Yates will serve as executive vice president, according to chamber President Dick Fausset.
During Seitz’s tenure, membership grew by 25% and the chamber’s total annual income increased from $175,000 to $365,000, Fausset said.
