WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Three members of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team were arrested early this morning after police were called to a brawl involving seven people outside a nightclub, Winnipeg police spokesman Eric Turner said.
Shayne Corson, Mike Keane and Brian Skrudland of the Canadiens, along with two Winnipeg men, were charged with causing a disturbance by fighting, Turner said.
The cause of the disturbance was unknown, Turner said. All seven people involved, including two women, suffered minor cuts and bruises, he said.
