Washington State Signs Golden West’s Ashworth

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Kevin Ashworth, a J.C. Grid-Wire All-American linebacker from Golden West College, has signed a letter of intent to play at Washington State, Rustlers Coach Ray Shackleford said Friday.
Ashworth, 6 feet 2 and 220 pounds, was third this season in tackles for Golden West with 77.
Ashworth, from Pacifica High School, was twice an All-Mission Conference selection.
