Tuna Boat Explodes, Sinks in Canal Zone, Killing 4

PANAMA CITY — A U.S. tuna boat exploded and sank in the Panama Canal zone Friday, killing four people, including two Americans, officials said. Authorities blamed a fire, probably caused by a crewman’s soldering cigarette, for the explosion.
