Youths to Perform in ‘Las Posadas’

LONG BEACH — The Escuela de Nuevo Canto and the Long Beach Council of the League of United Latin American Citizens will present “Las Posadas Navidenas” from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturdayat Drake Park, 951 Maine Ave., Long Beach.
“Las Posadas” will include music, songs and a theatrical presentation performed by Latino youths. The singers are from the Escuela de Nuevo Canto, a group of families interested in developing the cultural, linguistic, musical and performing talents of their children. The theater performers are from the city of Long Beach Gang Prevention Program.
