Ethics Law
I am disgusted by the pathetic moral dilemmas faced by those elected officials who are confused by the new Los Angeles ethics law (Metro, Jan. 13). Most normal people have some trouble deciding whether or not to pull the plug on Grandma’s life support system; these guys can’t decide whether or not to accept free movie tickets. They were given substantial pay raises (in excess of $20,000 per year) so they could buy their own movie tickets.
